Professional (work-life) Coaching
“According to a recent study, a large portion of Finnish employees use only about 40% of their maximum capacity.”
Types of Professional Coaching:
One-on-one
A personal coaching process provides a dedicated space for focused and deep reflection on your professional life. By clarifying goals, identifying strengths, and unlocking new perspectives, clients experience a greater sense of direction and purpose. As clarity increases and your resources are strengthened, motivation, ownership, and confidence naturally follow.
One-on-one coaching offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to tailor the frequency of sessions and the duration of the process to suit your unique needs and lifestyle. Whether you seek short-term guidance or a long-term developmental journey, personal coaching is adaptable to fit your goals and schedule, ensuring that each session brings meaningful progress.
Groups
Group coaching provides a shared, reflective space for colleagues to explore work-related challenges, learn from one another, and strengthen collaboration. It fosters trust, enhances communication, and supports both individual development and team well-being. Participants gain fresh perspectives, practical tools, and greater clarity—leading to more balanced and effective work.
Group coaching works best with 3–6 participants. When leaders join alongside employees, it promotes transparency and deepens collaboration. To further enhance effectiveness, individual coaching sessions—such as one-on-one coaching for leaders—can be integrated into the process.
Peer Groups
Professional Coaching thrives in peer group settings, bringing together individuals from within or outside an organization—such as entrepreneurs, pastors, nurses, executives, and more. These groups create a dynamic environment where participants can openly share challenges, ideas, and solutions. The collective wisdom and support from peers provide fresh perspectives, encouragement, and a sense of community.
In a professional peer group, members inspire each other, gain new insights, and tackle issues together—whether it’s improving work-life balance, navigating leadership challenges, or fostering personal growth. This collaborative approach enhances motivation, accountability, and connection.
*Each type of Work-Life Coaching is taylor-made to the individual or organisation and its needs. Group Coachings are often arranged 3-5 weeks apart, for most effective dynamics and development. Individuals can utilize Coaching more flexibly, for example once a month, once every two months, etc.
The Coaching Process
Whether one-on-one, as a team or as a group, the process of Work-Life Coaching is always an interesting, and usually, a very eye-opening journey! Taking a bit of distance to daily work-situations helps to clarify them and to better understand one’s relationship to it all.
According to research, gaining new insights is psychologically motivating and leads us to more effectively evaluate and reflect on our way of doing things.
The effects of the coaching process continue between sessions, as the mind (or the team) processes the new insights, while practicing putting them into action.
